Robert Bowling, better known as fourzerotwo and community manager for Infinity Ward, has dropped a warning for overeager Call of Duty fans out there. It seems there’s an email circulating the web inviting gamers to join the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta. The problem is that there is no Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta and, as fourzerotwo points out, Infinity Ward hasn’t even announced its next project yet (though we’d guess the fake email isn’t that far off).
